EBG has been contracted by the Department of Communities and Justice to deliver the Family Room Enhancements project across 11 family contact rooms located in Mt Druitt, Penrith, Hawkesbury, and St Marys. These rooms provide essential spaces for safe and supportive family interactions, and the upgrades focused on creating more welcoming, functional, and child – friendly environments.
The scope of works included full strip out of existing furniture, wall fixtures, and flooring, followed by patching and repainting of all walls. EBG also supplied and installed new flooring throughout, with particular attention to safety at all entry and exit points.
The project was delivered over four weeks, with one week allocated per location - allowing EBG to complete upgrades to all rooms in Hawkesbury, Penrith, Mt Druitt, and St Marys efficiently and with minimal disruption. Careful planning and coordination were key to keeping the schedule on track.
Acoustic panelling was also installed in designated areas, providing both functional sounds dampening and a modern visual element that added a warm, finished touch to the rooms. This project showcases EBG’s ability to deliver thoughtful, high quality upgrades in sensitive, service-based environments.
