Heritage charm, extended for year-round family living.
This residential transformation required the character of the existing European brick Tudor-style home to be carefully integrated with a contemporary rear extension. Following complications with the initial builder, EBG was appointed midway through construction to take control of the site and complete the remaining works.
EBG reviewed the partially completed construction, architectural documentation and outstanding scope before establishing a clear pathway to completion. The project was subsequently delivered within six months in accordance with the architectural details and specifications.
Works included restoration of the front façade and installation of a new ensuite within the outbuilding. EBG also completed the hydronic heating, automated external blinds, custom joinery, rear deck and alfresco outdoor kitchen, frameless glass balustrading and landscaping.
The completed rear entertaining area combines a large angled roof structure with automated blinds to manage sunlight, heat and changing weather conditions throughout the year. The result is a cohesive family home that successfully brings together its original character and contemporary additions, delivering a practical and refined outcome to the client’s delight.
